Review of the FRED expo 2022

The Chamber of Commerce Bonaire and BONHATA represented Bonaire on behalf of the private sector at the Flinx Recruitment Expo Dutch Caribbean (FRED expo) on October 29 in Rotterdam.

The purpose of this scholarship was to contact candidates who are interested in a transfer to Bonaire.

The Chamber of Commerce Bonaire and BONHATA saw a need within the private sector to fulfill functions and therefore took the step together to be present at this fair to represent the private sector on Bonaire in addition to the government sector as an interesting option. for candidates. Both organizations presented concrete vacancies from various local companies at the fair. These vacancies are also posted on the FRED expo website www.fredexpo.com

BONHATA also gave a presentation at the fair about working in the hospitality sector on Bonaire and noted that there was a lot of interest from the participants for management positions in the tourism sector.

The Chamber of Commerce Bonaire gave a presentation about the possibilities that entrepreneurship on Bonaire has to offer.

Both organizations had a lot of interest from the visitors at the striking stand “It’s in our nature”.

The Chamber of Commerce has also made many contacts with entrepreneurs from the islands that are active in the Netherlands and has also motivated them to use their knowledge and experience for the further development of Bonaire by carrying out business activities here as well.

The Chamber of Commerce and BONHATA look back on a successful participation in this fair as the interest of the visitors has certainly been aroused to consider Bonaire as an option.
