KvK Academy 2024 successfully completed with spectacular Shark Tank (Tanki di Tribon)

The KvK Academy 2024 has reached an impressive high point this year with the successful organization of the Shark Tank, inspired by the popular TV program. Of the 39 participants in the KvK Academy, no fewer than 18 entrepreneurs presented their innovative companies to a panel of five jury members.

The jury, consisting of: Daniel Gerharts (MCB Bonaire), Andrew Tweeboom (Nynedroid Autorijschool), Ruthsaily Alment (Telbo NV.), Hellen Villaroel (Cactus Accounting Services) and Ottmar Martis (OGS) assessed the passionate pitches of the entrepreneurs very professionally!

The big winner of the Shark Tank was Siagnee Evertsz of Total Safety First, who convinced the jury with her innovative and future-oriented approach. The second place went to Vaughn Astwood of Vinnova, who approached the youth of Bonaire with a different perspective. While Marylou Felida from Kunuku Mágiko Bonaire came in third with her idea to realize an innovative Kunuku Park with its facilities.

Finally, all participants in the Shark Tank receive a two-hour financial advice session from OSG NV.

The KvK Academy offers a platform for entrepreneurs to develop their knowledge and skills and discover new business opportunities. Another KvK Academy is planned for next year.
