KvK Academy winner takes first step as entrepreneur with successful opening of Flavorful Moments

Kralendijk, Bonaire – June 12, 2026 – The Bonaire Chamber of Commerce (KvK) proudly congratulates Jurdine Felix, winner of the most recent edition of the KvK Academy, on the successful opening of her new business, Flavorful Moments. The festive launch took place on June 6 during the well-attended Foodtruck Festival at Isidel Beach Park.

Visitors lined up in long queues to sample the delicious creations of Flavorful Moments. Jurdine managed to surprise young and old with her fresh waffles and mini donuts, which could be customized entirely to one’s own taste with various toppings, including chocolate and caramel sauce, marshmallows, and M&M’s. The enthusiastic reactions from the public and the great interest made the opening a huge success.

The Director of the Bonaire Chamber of Commerce was also present at the festival and took the opportunity to personally congratulate Jurdine on this important milestone. On behalf of the Chamber of Commerce, he expressed his appreciation for her entrepreneurship, perseverance, and the way in which she managed to translate the knowledge and skills from the Chamber of Commerce Academy into a successful business.
