Invitation Bonaire Climate Roundtable Sessions May 6th & 13th 2025

Dear Sir, Madam
On March 13th, we started the climate roundtable discussions with a group of stakeholders (so-called Group A). We concluded these discussions on April 17th. We are enthusiastically continuing the process with the smaller organizations (so-called Group B).
The chairman of the Bonaire Climate Roundtable in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to the next sessions on May 6th and 13th.
During these meetings, we would like to reflect with you on the input that has been collected so far. In addition, we will explore where there are additional points of attention and in what way your organization can contribute to tackling climate change on Bonaire. We will reflect on the impact of climate change and emphasize the need to act together as a community. Now is the time to move forward and take steps. In these sessions, we will work on the six domains of the Bonaire Climate Roundtable. Your presence and active participation are of great importance. Considering your role within society and the valuable contribution you can make; we count on your involvement.
Dates and themes of the climate roundtable discussions:
- May 6: Water Domain | Nature & Environment Domain | Food Domain
- May 13: Infrastructure & Energy Domain | Living & Working Domain | People & Culture Domain
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Jong Bonaire
Please note: We start exactly at 6:00 PM, so we kindly request you to be present on time.

For a structured and effective process, discussion leaders and note-takers will be present. In this way, all input is carefully recorded and included in the follow-up process towards the Climate Plan for Bonaire. Please confirm your participation (or that of your replacement) as soon as possible with our project secretary Ivy Adriaens-Lo Tam Soen via info@klimaattafel-bonaire.com. She is also available for questions or additional information. We hope to welcome you to both sessions and work together on a climate-proof Bonaire.
Kind regards,
Reynolds ‘Nolly’ Oleana
