About Executive Consultancy – Evert Bleijenberg:

Evert has worked for about 20 years in senior management at international Telecom and IT companies such as Philips Data Systems, Space Systems Loral, Intelsat, and KPN. He is one of the people who was at the forefront of building the internet. In 1998, he started his own strategy consultancy firm, through which he supported various organizations.

In 2001, Evert decided to scale back his management activities and follow his passion. He became a professional underwater cameraman. During one of his film trips, he (re)discovered the phenomenon of natural self-organizing systems: swarms. And almost immediately, he understood the benefits this behavior could offer to human organizations. In 2020, he published his book SWARM Organization, in which he describes why our current organizational models can no longer function and how the SWARM Organizational Model offers a solution to this.

Evert lives on Bonaire. He holds a Master in Business Administration from the University of Groningen, INSEAD, and the Wharton University of Pennsylvania. His professional life revolves around organization, technology, innovation, and sustainability. He is a guest lecturer at Nyenrode Business University and PW Academy and is a regular speaker at business events.
