2nd Bonaire Chamber Art Exhibition attracts hundreds of visitors

The Bonaire Chamber of Commerce and Industry drew an overwhelming number of visitors in its second edition of the Bonaire Chamber Art Exhibition on Saturday, Nov. 26. Hundreds of interested parties purchased a wide variety of artwork from the 36 artists present, ranging from paintings, jewelry, glassware and Beach Art to motivational texts.

After the official opening on Nov. 25, 2022, Qredits – as one of our partners for this event – organized a workshop for the artists. The theme this year was “from hobbyist to entrepreneur”. During the workshop, a local entrepreneur – Cassy Roosje of Cassy Roosje Creates E.Z. – shared his experience and motivation about his transition from a hobbyist to an entrepreneur. In addition, Qredits provided information about the BES Culture Loan and explained the process to apply for this loan. This was a great opportunity to receive all the information you need as an artist to make your hobby your work.

The Bonaire Chamber Art Exhibition has now been fully embraced by the visitors and the artists who have only expressed super positive feedback to the organization. The Bonaire Chamber of Commerce would like to thank all visitors for their support for the local artists. Of course, our thanks also go to the artists who participated!

The Chamber of Commerce will continue its efforts to give local artists a stage to get the recognition they deserve.
