An insightful information session on Cyber Resilience in the Age of Digitalization and AI takes center stage on Bonaire.

On Wednesday, November 26th, Cybervade hosted a practical, accessible, and insightful information session in collaboration with the Bonaire Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KvK Bonaire). The theme of the information session was “Cyber Resilience in the Age of Digitalization and AI.” Attendees listened with rapt attention and visible enthusiasm to learn how and where to focus their efforts within their organizations.

At a time when digitalization and AI are developing rapidly, the need for organizations to become more resilient to cyber threats is also growing. The session offered participants an insightful look at how technology is changing our environment and how organizations can best protect themselves against it.

Using a clear four-color model, Cybervade guided participants through the full spectrum of cybersecurity and cyber resilience, addressing the following six points:

  • The context of digitalization and AI: how our society is changing and what impact this has
  • Cybersecurity 101: the basic principles everyone should know
  • The criminal side of cyber: understanding how hackers operate and the importance of anticipating their methods
  • Offensive measures: proactive strategies for testing and strengthening systems
  • Defensive measures: practical, immediately applicable protective measures
  • Organizational approach: the crucial role of leadership and policy—”the tone at the top” in creating a cybersecure culture within your company

The Chamber of Commerce looks back on the information session with satisfaction and will continue to organize sessions that add value to all types of companies and organizations registered in the Trade Register. The Chamber of Commerce would like to thank the Cybercade speakers, Caetano Kluyver and Niko Kluyver, for their enthusiasm and excellent professionalism.
