Announcement nomination of candidates
ANNOUNCEMENT
The Bonaire Chamber of Commerce & Industry announces that, in accordance with the provisions of art. 5 and 6 of the Electoral Decree of Chambers of Commerce and Industry BES, the period for the
NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES
relating to the election of boardmembers for the Chamber of Commerce is set from November 1st to 14th, 2022. Eligible voters will elect to fill five (5) vacancies on the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
During this fourteen-day period, candidates can postulate themselves for these Board positions at the Chamber of Commerce on business days during the regular business hours, by submitting a declaration signed by at least fifteen (15) voters who are qualified to participate in the election, accompanied by a written statement from the candidate, that he/she is willing to accept a candidacy. Each statement may only contain the name of one candidate. The submission of the declaration of candidates needs to be made in person by one of the signatories.
The forms for the declaration of candidates and for the written declaration referred to above will be available free of charge starting on October 4th, 2022 at the Chamber of Commerce, Kaya Amsterdam 23.
