Bonaire Chamber of Commerce Participates in ‘Feria di Trabou’ and Promotes Entrepreneurship

Kralendijk, October 6, 2025 – The Bonaire Chamber of Commerce (KvK) enthusiastically participated in the ‘Feria di Trabou’ on Friday, October 3, 2025 — a job fair organized by Plenchi di Trabou. The Chamber considers it important to be present at such events to highlight entrepreneurship as a valuable path toward self-reliance.

The KvK showed visitors that entrepreneurship can be an excellent alternative for those seeking employment and who have long considered starting their own business. Entrepreneurs can chart their own course and contribute to the island’s economy.

In addition to providing information at the job fair, the KvK organized an interactive workshop on starting a business. During this session, practical tips were shared on the fundamental steps of entrepreneurship, such as choosing a legal structure, registering in the trade register, and understanding other key aspects. The workshop attracted considerable interest and offered participants valuable insights into the opportunities of starting their own business.

The KvK noted that many people at the job fair had promising business ideas but were often hesitant to take concrete steps. Uncertainty about what actions to take or the perception that the process might be too complex had so far held them back from realizing their ideas. The KvK scheduled follow-up appointments with several visitors to guide them further in developing their business concepts.
