Information Session for Entrepreneurs Interested in Kiosks at Isidel Park

On Friday, June 13th, Bonaire Overheidsgebouwen (BOG) and the Bonaire Chamber of Commerce (KvK) held an information session for entrepreneurs interested in securing a kiosk location at Isidel Park.

BOG, the owner of the park, aims to develop the area into a vibrant and attractive business location. In collaboration with the Center for Entrepreneurship, KvK will support and guide participating entrepreneurs through a dedicated program. This program will include training sessions, workshops, and networking events to equip entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools needed to successfully operate their businesses within Isidel Park.

Following the information session, candidates were given a few days to prepare a compelling pitch for their business ideas. The big day took place on June 18, when participants presented their plans to a panel of expert judges.

The jury was impressed by the quality and creativity of the proposals. Many well-thought-out and ambitious initiatives were showcased.

In the end,  Joly’s Café and Kushina di Ina stood out with their clear vision, feasible plans, and strong presentations. They were selected as the winners and will each be given the opportunity to run one of the two available kiosks.

This initiative strives to create a lively and economically sustainable park that offers real opportunities for local entrepreneurs. The Chamber of Commerce continues to seek cooperation with stakeholders to support entrepreneurs.
