KICK-OFF KvK Academy 2025: A great start for new entrepreneurs

On Thursday, August 21, the KICK-OFF of the KvK Academy 2025 took place at the beautiful location of Isidel Park Bonaire. During this opening event, the new participants were welcomed and informed by the trainers about the different modules they will follow in the coming months.

Starting next week, the Academy will officially begin:

· On Tuesday, August 26, the Papiamentu-speaking group will start with 20 participants.

· On Wednesday, August 27, the Dutch-speaking group will follow, also with 20 participants.

The KvK Academy offers participants a program in which they strengthen their entrepreneurial skills, gain new knowledge, and work hands-on on their own business plans. The program will conclude around November 14, 2025, with a “Shark Tank” (Tanki di Tribon), where participants will present their ideas to a panel of expert judges.

The aim of the KvK Academy is to strengthen entrepreneurship on Bonaire and thereby contribute to the fortification of Bonaire’s economy. The slogan of the KvK Academy, which stands for the 3 E’s, is: Educating & Empowering Entrepreneurs. Participants will receive additional training in essential entrepreneurial skills from guest lecturers of institutions on Bonaire and from staff members of the Chamber of Commerce.
