KvK Bonaire organizes its second One-Stop Shop for aspiring and starting Entrepreneurs

The Centre for Entrepreneurship (CvO) program of KvK Bonaire organized the second edition of its One-Stop Shop event. During this informative gathering, aspiring and starting entrepreneurs were given the unique opportunity to ask all their questions in one evening to various government agencies and support organizations that play an important role in starting and operating a business.

Participants were able to speak directly with representatives from the Caribbean Netherlands Tax Administration (BCN), Qredits Bonaire, the Immigration and Naturalization Service (IND), and the Labor Affairs and Work Permit departments of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment (SZW). This provided visitors with valuable information on taxation, financing opportunities, residence and work permits, and labor regulations.

Although the business establishment permit department of the Public Entity Bonaire (OLB) was unable to attend, relevant information was made available through informational materials distributed to visitors.

KvK Bonaire was also present to inform attendees about the support services and assistance offered through the Centre for Entrepreneurship. The program provides guidance, information, and practical support to entrepreneurs taking their first steps in business ownership.

The Chamber of Commerce has been commissioned by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) to develop an entrepreneurship program that supports start-up entrepreneurs in building and growing their businesses into sustainable enterprises. The program aims to increase entrepreneurs’ awareness of the assistance available to them and the skills they need to develop in order to create and maintain a viable business.

Through initiatives such as the One-Stop Shop, KvK Bonaire remains committed to providing aspiring and starting entrepreneurs with accessible and reliable information. By connecting entrepreneurs with the relevant organizations at an early stage, they are better equipped to make informed decisions about starting and developing their businesses.
