Looking Back at the First Session of HR Month: ‘Start of the Planning Conversation’

The HR Month of the Chamber of Commerce Bonaire has officially begun! The kick-off took place on Friday, May 9, with the session ‘Start of the Planning Conversation,’ led by Judith Brekelmans from Team. The session was well attended, with around 20 participants from various sectors such as construction, healthcare & welfare, hospitality, and technology — ranging from HR professionals to owners of smaller businesses.

The interactive session focused on conducting effective initial and planning conversations. Judith discussed practice-oriented cases, shared useful tips & tricks, and outlined clear do’s and don’ts. Participants engaged actively and appreciated the practical approach.

The atmosphere was positive, and the feedback was enthusiastic. Many are already looking forward to the next session on Friday, May 16: Performance and Appraisal Conversations.
