New SBI code(s) automatically processed in the Trade Register as of October 1, 2025

Statistics Netherlands (CBS) has updated the codes, and therefore the SBI codes are being replaced. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bonaire had to update the classification of business activities according to the Standard Industrial Classification (SBI) for this purpose. This adjustment is necessary to better align with current economic reality and sectoral developments.

What does this mean for you?

The new SBI code(s) have been automatically processed for you in the Trade Register as of October 1, 2025. You do not need to do anything.

You received an email at the business email address we have on file for you. If you did not receive it, you can pick it up from us at Kaya Amsterdam 23 on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, or request it by email at sbi@kvkbonaire.com. Disagree with the new coding?

If the new coding doesn’t match your current business activities, please let us know by completing form R and sending it to sbi@kvkbonaire.com.
