On Friday, November 28, 2025, the Election Committee of the Bonaire Chamber of Commerce and Industry met in session and approved the candidate lists for the election of the members of the Board of the Bonaire Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Election Committee declares, pursuant to Article 12 of the Electoral Decree for the Chambers of Commerce and Industry BES, that the following candidates are eligible to fill the vacant positions on the board of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry Bonaire, and establishes that 9 candidates are eligible for 5 available positions on the board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, namely:
- Jeaniro Balentien
- Ghulam Choudry
- Eduarda (Judy) Diaz
- Leonard Domacassé
- Caryl (Hans) Els
- Reuben Giskus
- Giovannie Hart
- Ottmar Martie
- Marcel Westerhoff
Pursuant to Article 13, paragraph 4, of the Electoral Decree for the Chambers of Commerce and Industry BES, the Election Committee hereby announces that, as the number of candidates exceeds the number of board positions to be filled, a vote will be held.
On behalf of the President of the Chamber, it is hereby announced that the vote will take place on Friday, 12 December 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Bonaire Chamber of Commerce.
In accordance with Article 2 of the Electoral Decree for the Chambers of Commerce and Industry BES, the representatives of eligible enterprises and legal entities, with the exception of associations and foundations, are hereby summoned to cast their vote.
Voters must present a valid identification document, as referred to in Article 2 of the BES Identification Requirement Act, to the chair of the electoral committee, who will verify their identity.
