Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) & KvK Bonaire have launched the Tourism Innovation Project

Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) has launched the Tourism Innovation Project, a partnership between TCB and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bonaire (KvK) to redefine Bonaire’s tourism sector. The project aims to discover innovative concepts that will transform visitors’ experiences on the island. The Tourism Innovation Project is to reimagine, reinvent and redefine tourism on Bonaire. With a bold vision in mind, the project seeks to discover innovative concepts that will transform the way visitors experience our island. Aspiring entrepreneurs, established companies and passionate individuals could register.

38 entrepreneurs have registered and 11 were selected at the Bonaire Tourism Summit to participate in the ‘Design Thinking’ workshop. This workshop will provide participants with tools to develop innovative ideas and use them in their plans. The first workshop was given on October 31 and the second workshop will be given on November 7 by Miles Mercera (TCB) and Pierre Perigault Monte (KvK).

The workshop will conclude on November 30 with a “Shark Tank” style event. A committee of local experts and professionals will assess each project and its potential impact. The ultimate winner will receive a significant investment of $10,000 to bring their visionary tourism concept to life.
