Valuable webinar: Successfully: “Make your organization resilient to security attacks”
On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, the Bonaire Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Successfully, organized a webinar for Bonairean entrepreneurs. The session, titled “Make your organization resilient to security attacks,” offered entrepreneurs valuable insights and practical tips and tricks to make their businesses as resilient as possible to cyberattacks.
During the session, led by Roy Sandbergen, the focus was on the current threats that entrepreneurs and organizations on Bonaire and within the Dutch Caribbean may face. The discussion focused on what to look out for, the various types of cyberattacks, and how to best protect against them.

- Types of cyberattacks, trends, and threats: phishing, social engineering, ransomware, network & infrastructure attacks, application & web attacks, supply chain & insider threats, AI-powered attacks, etc.
- How these attacks occur: how a hacker approaches your organization and devices
- Why cybersecurity is so important and what steps you as an organization should take if you’ve been hacked
- Examples of challenges and quick wins: what you can do as a person, what you should pay attention to, why attention is crucial despite the urgency, and how you can prevent incidents
- What you as an organization can do: ensure policies, updates, and log files are in place, and have a disaster recovery plan with clear communication
