Entrepreneurs delve into customer focus during The Next Step session

Kralendijk – No fewer than 25 entrepreneurs from various sectors recently gathered for the Customer Service session of The Next Step growth program by the Bonaire Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During the interactive meeting, experiences and insights were shared regarding the importance of customer friendliness, professional communication, and excellent service.

Trainer Aishel Granviel of Moving Forward B.V. covered topics such as customer satisfaction, customer retention, effective communication, and professionally handling complaints. Through practical examples and role-playing, participants were provided with concrete tools to further improve their customer contact.

Business consultant and program leader Jían Magdalena also addressed the importance of fully embracing the entrepreneurial role. He emphasized that service-oriented entrepreneurship goes beyond just customer contact and also requires conscious leadership and, where applicable, involving employees in a customer-oriented corporate culture.

During the practical exercises, special attention was paid to digital communication channels, including WhatsApp Business. Participants discussed how they can also communicate professionally, clearly, and respectfully with customers via informal platforms.

With this session, The Next Step supports entrepreneurs in strengthening their customer focus and sustainable growth. The focus here is on strengthening the customer base, one of the three central growth pillars within the program. By investing in good service and customer relationships, entrepreneurs build a loyal customer base and a stronger market position.
