Bonaire Chamber of Commerce Launches Second Edition of Innovation Academy with the Theme ‘Education’

Turning innovative ideas into reality: an opportunity for everyone who wants to contribute to the future of education on Bonaire.

Kralendijk, Bonaire – November 2026 – The Bonaire Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KvK) is proud to announce the second edition of the Innovation Academy. Following the first edition, which was organized in collaboration with Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) and focused on innovation within the tourism sector, this year’s edition will center around the theme ‘Education’.

Through this initiative, the Chamber of Commerce aims to encourage innovative thinkers, entrepreneurs, and creative individuals to develop new solutions that contribute to the future of education on Bonaire.

Do you have an idea that could transform the way we learn, teach, raise children, or develop ourselves? Then the Innovation Academy is looking for you!

From Idea to Reality

From all submitted ideas, the 10 most innovative proposals will be selected. The selected participants will be announced on November 17, 2026, and will have the opportunity to participate in intensive Design Thinking workshops on November 24 and 25, 2026.

During these workshops, participants will learn how to further develop their ideas into concrete and feasible concepts. With professional guidance, they will work on identifying challenges, developing creative solutions, and refining their ideas.

On December 11, 2026, participants will have the opportunity to present their concepts to a panel of judges during the Shark Tank Event, where they will compete for a chance to receive seed funding to help bring their innovative ideas to life.

The Innovation Academy will officially conclude on December 12, 2026, with a certificate award ceremony.
