Informative Session on EU Funding for Cybersecurity

An informative session was recently held regarding European funding and grant opportunities for cybersecurity projects, aimed at organizations in the Caribbean parts of the Kingdom. During the session, the Netherlands Cybersecurity Coordination Centre (NCC-NL) delivered a clear and practical presentation on funding options available through European programs, including Digital Europe and Horizon Europe.

The session provided a detailed explanation of the steps organizations must take to qualify for European grants. This included guidance on identifying suitable grant schemes, assessing eligibility criteria, preparing project proposals, and submitting grant applications.

The presentation offered a structured overview of where to find relevant information, how to utilize it, and the procedures to follow when applying for funding.

Additionally, the session outlined the support that NCC-NL can provide in exploring funding opportunities and preparing applications.

Participants gained valuable insights and practical tools to further investigate the potential for European funding for their own cybersecurity projects.
