Visit of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate to the Chamber of Commerce Bonaire

On Thursday, January 25, 2024, the Bonaire Chamber of Commerce (KvK) received a visit from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate (EZK). Representative of the EZK Mark Samuals, together with Phar Martha (Chamber of Commerce director) and Pierre Perigault Monte (Chamber of Commerce business advisor), visited several entrepreneurs to get an idea of what the entrepreneurial landscape on Bonaire looks like.

During the afternoon they visited Punta Blanku Farm, Kralendijk Ink and Daboussi Motors. The entrepreneurs talked about what they have achieved so far, their collaboration with the government, other entrepreneurs, investments they have made and the challenges and opportunities of doing business on the island.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy listened with interest to the experiences of the entrepreneurs and responded very positively about the developments they have undergone with their companies. The Chamber of Commerce believes it is important to stay in touch with the ministries in order to keep them informed of developments in the field of entrepreneurship on our island.
